A housing association that offers electric vehicle charging is attractive to potential purchasers and enhances the value of the association.
The past ten years have brought an acceleration of development in the electric vehicle market, with more and more chargeable electric cars. 2020 is the year in which the majority of car manufacturers are offering chargeable models, and more than a third of people who intend to replace a car in the next few years state that they will consider a chargeable option. What is happening is a radical transition from fossil fuels to fossil-free alternatives. Just as car manufacturers today need to offer chargeable options, housing associations, joint-ownership properties and property owners also need to offer smart and aesthetic charging. Rapid, stable internet in the home and connected charging with smart cloud control are facilities that are taken for granted today.
More and more people want smart and safe charging for their cars
Existing housing association members who own apartments and new apartment purchasers who already own an electric car know what they need. In addition, forecasts indicate that the proportion of chargeable electric vehicles will double or treble in a few years. Charging capacity is therefore a direct competitive factor for the properties of the future, and the installation of electric car charging is something every association and joint-ownership property needs to decide on. It is a simpler job, involving less effort than it might initially appear. Charge Amps has an almost perfect combination of technical hardware, smart software and simplified electrical installation which provides unbeatable overall economy for the association and optimum charging conditions for the individual electric car owner.
